USE WITHOUT INTERNET COVERAGE

The App can work without an internet connection. To this end, we recommend that you preload the content you are interested in when you have a WiFi connection.

Maps and tracks: in the "Itinerary" screen, select the button in the upper right corner

"Where to sleep" and "To see": select the button in the upper right corner of the resource list screens

In the resource list, data can be sorted:

In alphabetical order.

By distance from where you are.

NOTE: Once the itinerary is used, it is recommended to download maps and resources from the phone by clicking on the same icons showing an "X". The maps take up a lot of space on the device and this may prevent subsequent data downloads

MAP FUNCTIONS

Two types of maps can be accessed from the "Itinerary" screen.

Interactive map

Oriented to the north, it allows zooming using the +/- keys.

View points of interest and accommodations

Center the map on your GPS location.

Center the map on the entire route.

Report a critical issue on the route

View the navigation map.

Navigation map

The map is oriented in the direction of travel, and the zoom is fixed.

Activates the alarm if you stray from the path.

Distance to the end point of the route.

OTHER FUNCTIONS.

Other functions are available within the App:

GO-TO activates the navigator to reach off-route locations.

Visit the resource website.

Contact the resource by phone.

Contact the resource by email.

Share on social (android-only in some App versions).

Share on social (iOS-only in some App versions)

IMPORTANT WARNINGS

Do not rely solely on your smartphone to guide you along the route: it is an electronic device that can fail or run out of battery power. Also carry a map with you.

The trail routes shown on this application are subject to modification and change, due to road works, vegetation, snow cover, hydrogeological disruption, etc.. They should therefore be considered as indicative information, just like the information contained by any topographic map.

In particular, tracks should be used with the utmost care in cases of poor visibility and adverse weather conditions.

Keep in mind that the position given by the smartphone can be inaccurate, and is affected by obstacles such as buildings, rocks, and trees.

We urge anyone using the App to be careful in using the information, and not to rely on the smartphone uncritically.
